Mid 1960’s - Early 70’s. Benthos (Bottom of the Sea) (Greek). Steel Aquastar Benthos 500. Highly sought Diver! Original matte charcoal grey tone dial has a damaged area near the 3 and 4 marker. Still has a great looking watch. Big applied markers and matching diver hands. White second hand. Large heavy all steel case with a screw back is in nice condition. 43mm. Mineral glass crystal some light scratches. 17J automatic wind movement. Very cool ghosting Outer rotating bezel. Screw down crown. Unique 60 minute timer called a “Totalizer”… the orange hand when engaged runs for 60 minutes. Press again and the timer flys back to 12. Hard to find… very cool … Sweet looking Vintage Diver.
